Things that Fall from the Sky

This novel took my breath away!! 

I absolutely adored the emotional storyline and the abundant frame narrative, which highlights the diverse and contrasting emotions of each character. 

Saara, the youngest protagonist, is engaging, and her child-like thoughts and challenges evoke sadness, sympathy, and wonder. Her and her family's hardships, resilience, and rebound are inspiring to read about and Saara's story grips you until the end. I found myself hooked from the beginning and read the entire novel in a single sitting. 

I would recommend Ahava's novel to readers looking for an emotional and engaging story, which overflows with emotion, thought-provoking ideas and feelings, and well-written prose.
