MINI-REVIEW
Easy
Tammara Webber ★★★

A New York Times and USA Today Bestseller
Easy by Tammara Webber is a novel featuring Jacqueline, a young and bright college student. The novel is a pleasurable and casual read, which introduces Jacqueline's struggles of confronting the sexual abuse within university culture while pursuing her education and relationships.
While I did not find the novel phenomenal, I enjoyed the relevant and much-needed discussion of challenges of rape and sexual abuse within educational institutions and university setting. There novel contains many cliché scenes I could have lived without, but as a whole, I enjoyed the plot and found it interesting. However, I did feel the author could have played more with the Lucas/Landon twist and the backstory of his character for more depth. The typical "bad boy but secretly good" vibes just didn't flow in its intended manner.
All in all, I enjoyed the novel, but I don't plan to read the sequels.
Love is not the absence of logic but logic examined and recalculated heated and curved to fit inside the contours of the heart.
